2. Scope
This policy covers all paid services and products offered by Purificationsyjo, including:
- One-to-one consulting and guidance sessions (in-person or remote)
- Personalized non-medical meal planning documents
- Digital educational products (workbooks, guides, reference materials)
- Structured learning programs with defined enrollment periods
Free informational content on our website and unpaid contact inquiries are not subject to this Refund Policy. This policy supplements our Terms of Use and does not limit mandatory consumer rights under Finnish or EU law.
3. Right of Withdrawal for Distance Contracts
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union and purchase services or digital products through our website without face-to-face contact, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Protection Act and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, starting from the day after the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, notify us of your decision by sending a clear statement to assist@purificationsyjo.world before the 14-day period expires. You may use the following model withdrawal form, though it is not mandatory:
"I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service/product: [description], ordered on [date], order number [if available]. Name: [your name]. Address: [your address]. Date: [date]. Signature (if sent by post): [signature]."
Upon valid withdrawal within the 14-day period, we will reimburse all payments received from you within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notification, using the same payment method unless you explicitly agree otherwise. You will not incur fees as a result of the reimbursement.
4. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
Under Finnish and EU law, the right of withdrawal does not apply in the following circumstances relevant to our services:
- Completed consulting sessions: If you requested that a consulting session begin during the withdrawal period and the session has been fully delivered with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you lose the withdrawal right once the session is complete.
- Digital content delivered immediately: If you purchased a digital educational product and explicitly consented to immediate delivery before the withdrawal period ended, acknowledging that you lose your withdrawal right once delivery begins.
- Personalized documents in progress: If a personalized planning document has been substantially created to your specifications with your express consent to begin work during the withdrawal period.
- Program participation beyond withdrawal period: Once a structured program has progressed beyond the initial orientation phase with your active participation and consent.
We will obtain your explicit consent and acknowledgment before beginning any service that may limit your withdrawal rights, in compliance with Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU.
5. Refund Eligibility by Service Type
5.1 Consulting and Guidance Sessions
Consulting sessions may be cancelled and refunded under the following conditions:
- More than 48 hours before scheduled session: Full refund of the session fee.
- 24 to 48 hours before scheduled session: 50% refund, or full rescheduling to a new date at no additional charge (your choice).
- Less than 24 hours before scheduled session or no-show: No refund, but rescheduling may be offered at our discretion subject to a rescheduling fee of EUR 25.
- Session not delivered due to our cancellation: Full refund or rescheduling at your preference.
If a consulting session has already occurred, refunds are available only if the session was not delivered as described in your order confirmation and you notify us within 7 days with specific details of the discrepancy.
5.2 Personalized Planning Documents
Personalized non-medical planning documents follow this refund structure:
- Before work begins: Full refund if you cancel before we commence document preparation.
- During preparation (draft stage): Partial refund of up to 50% if you cancel after work has begun but before final delivery, reflecting labor already invested.
- After final delivery: Refunds are not available unless the document materially differs from what was agreed in your order confirmation. Requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery with specific discrepancies identified.
5.3 Educational Products (Digital)
Digital educational products (workbooks, guides, reference materials) are eligible for refund under these terms:
- Within 14-day withdrawal period: Full refund if the digital product has not been downloaded or accessed, or if accessed but you exercise your statutory withdrawal right and the content has not been substantially consumed.
- Technical access issues: Full refund if you are unable to access purchased digital content due to a technical fault on our side, verified within 7 days of purchase.
- After download and access: No refund unless the product is materially defective (missing sections, corrupted files, or significant errors). Cosmetic formatting issues do not qualify.
5.4 Structured Learning Programs
Structured educational programs with defined enrollment periods follow these refund terms:
- Before program start date: Full refund minus any non-recoverable third-party costs explicitly disclosed at purchase.
- Within first 7 days of program start: Partial refund of up to 70% if you withdraw after accessing orientation materials but before completing more than one weekly module.
- After first 7 days: No refund, as program materials and community access have been substantially provided.
- Program cancelled by us: Full refund of unused portion calculated on a pro-rata basis.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or cancellation:

- Include your full name, email address used for purchase, order number, purchase date, and service or product name
- State the reason for your request and whether you prefer a refund or rescheduling (where applicable)
- Attach any supporting documentation (order confirmation, screenshots of technical issues)
We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and provide a decision within 7 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 14 days of approval to your original payment method.
7. Non-Refundable Items and Situations
Refunds are not provided in the following situations:
- Dissatisfaction with general informational content that was accurately described at purchase
- Failure to implement planning guidance — our services provide organizational education, not guaranteed outcomes
- Requests based on expectations of health, weight, or medical outcomes, as our services explicitly exclude such scope
- Purchases made through unauthorized third-party resellers
- Services fully delivered in accordance with the order confirmation
- Refund requests submitted more than 30 days after the applicable eligibility window (except statutory withdrawal rights)
8. Partial Refunds and Credits
In situations where a full refund is not applicable but we recognize a service shortcoming, we may offer:
- Partial monetary refund proportional to the undelivered portion
- Credit toward a future service of equal or lesser value, valid for 12 months
- Complimentary extension of program access or additional consulting time
Credits are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless required by law.
9. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may delay resolution and result in suspension of access to purchased services pending investigation. We cooperate fully with payment providers and provide documentation of service delivery where applicable.
10. Consumer Rights Under Finnish Law
This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Finnish law. If any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer protection legislation, the statutory provision prevails. Finnish consumers may contact the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV) at kkv.fi for guidance on consumer rights.
Business customers (B2B purchases) are subject to the terms agreed at purchase. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights do not apply to B2B transactions unless separately agreed in writing.
11. Processing Timeline
Approved refunds are processed according to the following timeline:
- Credit and debit card refunds: 5–10 business days after processing, depending on your bank
- Bank transfer refunds: 3–5 business days after processing
- Other payment methods: Timeline communicated at the time of refund approval
